What is the Cloud and why use it?
Think about when you use internet banking or upload your photo's to the cloud. Every time you access this data, you’re using the cloud. The cloud is a platform to make data and software accessible online anytime, anywhere, from any device. Your hard drive is no longer the central hub.
You can use cloud-based software from any device with an internet connection. Online accounting means business owners stay connected to their data and their accountants can too. In the cloud, there’s no need to install and run applications over a desktop computer. Instead, you pay for the software by monthly subscription.
What packages are available?
There are many packages to choose from, from QuickBooks, Xero, SageOne, Free Agent and many more.
It is always best to do some research before deciding what one is best for you as each one will offer something different at a different price.
We use QuickBooks and can offer a discounted rate when purchasing one of our licence, alternately the choice is yours, you need to choose a package which you are comfortable with.
